Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I know I should live in the present. The future isn’t guaranteed and the past is done, but I find myself thinking a lot about the past. The past is what’s shaped me. The past is where those lessons took place; the ones I use to avoid making the same mistakes in the future. The present is where I breathe and give thanks for the past and work toward peace in the future.
